Agenda/Minutes: 1) Roll Call and Introductions (if required) - See attendees above. 2) This Meeting: There were about 12 attendees and about 6 computers brought in to our second mini-install fest. As usual the same problems came up ... namely video cards and modems. Mahmood had a SiS 6326 video card that, even though it was supported had some issues. I have since posted some information on how to fix that. Harry had a Plug-n-Play modem that was being elusive but everything else seemed to go OK. And Daniel, what can I say, we are going to have to have a meeting just to get your machine fixed up, everytime you come in we have problems. For a future mini-install fest we may have to look into the availability of a phone line so we can connect up and research some of these issues during the installation and resolve them on the spot. The SiS information only took a few minutes to find. Also, Mark is trying to arrange a social evening to mark the official first anniversary of KLUG, Jan. 13. If you are interested please drop him a note. [Apparently this is not a go, but stay tuned to the mailing list.] If you have any ideas for meeting night topics please either post here, or email directly to Mark or I. Also, if anyone has any favorite topics they would like to present or knows of an interesting guest we could invite please let us know. Thanks to all the attendees and participants. 3) Next Meeting Mon, Feb. 7, 2000 at RMC. Subject to be determined. 4) Socialize / Adjourn
