KLUG Meeting Minutes and Agenda (#1)
                                
  The first meeting of the Kingston Linux User Group was held Wed, Jan. 13 1999 at 7pm at the Tyr-na-
  nog.  The meeting lasted until about 9pm.

  The agenda evolved into:
     - round-the-table introductions.
     - discussion on commercial Linux availability in the Kingston area. 
     - Discussion of possible KLUG goals based on the Advocacy and LUG How-Tos.
          - Basically left the discussion open for future ideas. 
  
  Next Meeting:
  The second meeting will be Mon, Jan. 25, 1999 at 7pm at Kirkpatricks/The Toucan (76 Princess St.,
  upstairs).
  
  Agenda for Next Meeting:
     - Condensed from Marks' list post of 990118.
  
  1) Roll Call/Introductions.
     - Hopefully a regular event to help old memories and new members.
  2) Old Business.
     - Any discussion on the points above.
  3) Current Business.
     - Secretary - role definition.
     - Member Information Sheets - initially paper, electronic form, availability?
     - Advertising - flyer, crest, press release, etc.
     - KLUG Server.
     - Hardware host.
     - Domain name,.
     - Internet connection and administration.
     - Advocacy/Outreach Project.
     - Meeting dates ... this could be a common topic.
     - Financial discussion - this came up a few times in Marks' post.
  4) New Business.
     - Any thing at all.
  5) Socialize/Adjourn.
     - Set a preliminary date/location for the next meeting.
